Fewer manual steps. Systems that talk. Software that fits.
Most of our clients have 10 to 250 staff and a handful of tools that each do their job well but don't share
anything. We find the manual steps between them and remove as many as we sensibly can.
Automate
Process automation & AI-assisted workflows
If someone on your team does the same thing more than a few times a week, it can probably be automated. We use no-code tools where they’re enough, custom code where they aren’t, and AI only where it genuinely earns its keep.
CertifiedRory is Claude-certified, so we know where AI genuinely helps and where it doesn’t.
Typical jobs
Invoices and purchase orders raised automatically
Enquiries read, sorted and routed by AI
Weekly reports built and emailed without anyone touching them
Supplier documents extracted into your accounts
You get
Workflows documented in plain English
Alerts when something needs a human
A before-and-after time saving, measured
Connect
Systems integration & APIs
Your CRM knows the customer, your accounts know what they owe and your shop knows what they bought, but none of them talk. We connect them properly with reliable, monitored integrations, not a fragile chain of zaps.
Typical jobs
Shopify ↔ warehouse ↔ Xero order sync
Website forms straight into HubSpot or Pipedrive
Legacy systems connected through custom APIs
One customer record across every tool
You get
Monitoring and error alerts
Integration docs your next developer can follow
No more “which system is right?”
Build
Custom software, internal tools & dashboards
When off-the-shelf almost fits, you end up bending your business around it. We design and build tools around how your team works. Amy designs it with your staff, and Rory, who has deep cloud computing experience, makes sure it’s fast, secure, reliably hosted and maintainable.
Typical jobs
Internal dashboards and ops boards
Customer and supplier portals
Booking, quoting and job-tracking tools
Replacing the spreadsheet everything depends on
Cloud hosting, deployment and monitoring, set up properly
You get
Code and IP you own outright
Designed with the people who’ll use it
Hosting set up in your accounts, not ours

Digital transformation consulting
Digital transformation doesn’t have to mean a three-year programme. For most SMEs it means fixing the five processes that cost the most, in the right order. We help you find them, cost them and decide what to buy, build or leave alone.
Typical jobs
Process mapping workshops with your team
Software selection and vendor sanity-checks
Technology roadmaps for the next 12–24 months
A second opinion on an existing quote
Cloud reviews: costs, security and moving off the server under the desk
You get
A costed, prioritised plan
Clear buy-versus-build recommendations
No obligation to build it with us
Borrow us
Contract development & team augmentation
Sometimes you just need a senior pair of hands. That’s where the name comes from. Rory brings back-end, integrations, cloud and architecture, and Amy, a senior web developer, brings front-end, UX and design systems. Separately or together, by the week or the month.
Typical jobs
Senior engineering cover for an in-house team
Rescuing a stalled or over-budget project
UX and front-end for an existing product
Mentoring junior developers while we deliver
You get
Senior people from day one
Flexible terms, no long lock-ins
Proper handover when we leave
Ways to work together
Start small. Most clients do.
2 weeks · fixed fee
Discovery sprint
We map your key processes, cost the manual work and hand you a prioritised plan with rough estimates. Yours to keep, even if you build it with someone else.
Best for: “we know something’s wrong but not where to start”
6–16 weeks · fixed scope
Project
A clearly scoped automation, integration or build, delivered in fortnightly increments with a demo every time. You’ll know what it costs before we start.
Best for: a known problem with a clear payoff
Day rate · by the week or month
Borrow us
Rory, Amy or both join your team as senior contractors. We work in your tools and your stand-ups, and we leave things better documented than we found them.
Best for: in-house teams that need senior capacity
After launch, an optional monthly support plan covers monitoring, fixes and small changes.
Questions we get asked
The honest answers
How much does a typical project cost?
Discovery sprints are a fixed fee. Most automation and integration projects land between the price of a good used van and a new one, and they usually pay for themselves within a year. We’ll give you a fixed quote before any work starts.
Do we have to replace our existing software?
Almost never. Most of our work connects and automates the tools you already pay for. If something really does need replacing, we’ll explain why and help you choose.
Who owns the code?
You do. Everything we build is yours, hosted in your accounts, with documentation so any competent developer could pick it up.
Is it just the two of you?
Yes, and that’s deliberate. You always deal with the people doing the work. For larger projects we bring in trusted freelancers we’ve worked with for years, and we’ll always tell you upfront.
Where do you use AI?
Where it’s reliably better than the alternative: reading documents, classifying emails, drafting replies for a human to check. We don’t bolt it on for the sake of it, and we’re careful about where your data goes.
Do you only work in Northern Ireland?
We’re based in Belfast and love meeting clients in person, but most of our work is remote. We work with businesses across the UK and Ireland.
Not sure which one you need? Neither were most of our clients.
